Three Month Weight Loss Program

This program offers a strong accountability component as well as customized meal plan. If you have more than 20 pounds to lose and regular, frequent appointments with Rachel help motivate you to make change and stick to your plan then this package is for you. You will meet with Rachel weekly for the first six weeks followed by biweekly for the remaining six weeks. Frequent follow ups will provide accountability and motivation as you monitor your progress and learn weight management strategies.

Three Month Weight Loss Package includes: Total of 9 appointments scheduled over 12 weeks
(One 60-minute appointment , One 30 minute appointment,  plus seven 15-minute follow-up appointments)

  • Initial 60-minute assessment to review goals, medical history, family medical history, available blood work, diet history including portion sizes, food preferences, eating out, medications supplement use, exercise habits and body measurements.
  • Based on your assessment, Rachel will then prepare A Personalized Meal Plan and Nutrition  Report which is designed to help you achieve a weight loss goal of 1 to 2 pounds per week in addition to other goals you may have (e.g. cholesterol lowering, energy management, etc.)
  • A second 30-minute appointment during which Rachel will present your meal plan and nutrition recommendations. You will also other applicable resources and a variety of healthy recipes.
  • Seven 15-minute follow up visits booked weekly for the next four weeks of the program and then once every two weeks afterwards. During your follow ups, Rachel will review your food diary, discuss ways to overcome obstacles/challenges, measure your weight and set goals for the following week. You may learn about reading food labels, healthy eating guidelines for eating out, increasing fibre, decreasing sodium, supplementation, and other topics related to your goals.

For your convenience you may participate in appointments in person, by phone or skype.

Three month weight loss package Fee: $390

If you prefer to come weekly for the duration of the program, or if you want to extend your program past three months, you can add extra follow up appointments.  Four follow up visits at 15 min each for $80 or $25 each.

Nutrition Makeover Package

If your goal is to lose 10 to 20 pounds, achieve a specific health goal, manage a health condition, this package is for you.  The Nutrition Makeover package includes a nutritional assessment, a customized sample meal plan, resources and follow up visits.

Nutrition Makeover Package Includes: Total of 5 appointments scheduled at your convenience.
(One 60 minute assessment, one 30 minute appointment, and three 15 minute follow up appointments)
The length of time between follow up appointments will depend you your goals and your schedule.

  • Initial 60-minute Assessment to review goals, medical history, family medical history, available blood work, diet history including portion sizes, food preferences, eating out, medications, supplement use, exercise habits, and body measurements.
  •  Based on your assessment, Rachel then prepares a Personalized  Meal Plan and Nutrition Report which is designed to help you achieve your specific nutrition and health goals.
  • A 30-minute appointment during which Rachel presents your  plan and nutrition report
  • Three 15-minute follow up visits. The frequency of follow up visits is flexible and will depend on your goals and the number of changes you are making. As you change your eating habits and establish a new healthy routine, you may wish to stretch out the duration of follow up appointments to monthly or once every few months.

Nutrition Makeover Package Fee: $290

Once you have completed your nutrition package, additional follow-ups can be added. Four follow-ups of 15 minutes are $80 or $25 each

Quick Fix Healthy Eating Package

If you are looking for general healthy eating advice, have minor nutritional concerns, or simply need to lose 5 to 10 pounds then the Quick Fix Healthy Eating Package is for you.  This package includes an initial nutrition assessment, sample meal plan, resources and recommendations to help achieve your nutritional goals.

The Quick Fix Healthy Eating Package includes a total of 3 appointments scheduled at your convenience.

(One 60 minute initial assessment, one 30 minute follow up appointment, and one 15 minute follow up appointment)

  • Initial 60-minute Assessment to review goals, medical history, family medical history, available blood work, diet history including portion sizes, food preferences, eating out, medications, supplement use, exercise habits, and body measurements.
  •  Based on your assessment, Rachel then prepares a Personalized Sample Meal Plan and Nutrition Recommendations which are designed to help you achieve your specific nutrition and health goals.
  • A 30-minute appointment during which Rachel presents your  sample plan and nutrition recommendations
  • One 15-minute follow up visit to see how you are doing on your journey to better health and make any further recommendations.

The Quick Fix Healthy Eating Package Fee:  $250

Once you have completed your nutrition package, additional follow-ups can be added. Four follow-ups of 15 minutes are $80 or $25 each

Healthy Couples and Families Package

If you are a couple or family looking to make healthier food choices together then this package is for you.  Rachel can help families and couples meet the challenges faced by busy and sometimes chaotic lives and the struggle to make sound food choices, prepare healthy meals and meal plan.

The Healthy Couples and Families Package includes a total of 2 appointments for two people (1.5 hour initial assessment, one 45 minute follow up visit)

  • Initial 90-minute Assessment to review your individual, joint or family goals.  If needed review medical history, family medical history, available blood work, diet history including portion sizes, food preferences, eating out, medications, supplement use, exercise habits, body measurements.  Discuss social history, work life, family dynamics as they pertain to the development of a meal plan.
  •  Based on your assessment, Rachel then prepares a Personalized Nutritional Care Plan and Recommendations which are designed to help you achieve your specific nutrition and health goals.  This may include a sample menu plan or planning guidelines.

The Healthy Couples and Family Package Fee (based on 2 people):  $290

*For each additional person, please add $15.00 per visit.
**Home visits are available for an additional $10.00 per session plus any applicable parking fees within a 10 km radius. For distances greater than 10 km, add $0.45 per km.

Once you have completed your nutrition package, additional follow-ups can be added. Four follow-ups of 15 minutes are $100 or $30 each (based on 2 people)

Nutrition counselling by a Registered Dietitian may be covered under your extended health benefits plan under the title of Registered Dietitian or utilization of your health spending account. Nutrition services provided by a Registered Dietitian are exempt form HST and are tax deductible in Ontario.
